Most pups are actually happier and safer at a dog day care center or dog boarding facility than on the road, especially if they can stay at a facility they are familiar and comfortable with. Many families drop their pups off at dog boarding sites a day or two before leaving on vacation, so that last-minute errands and packing can be done without worrying about the dog. In order to confidently open our doors to your kids, all pups must go through a rigorous screening process before becoming a certified camper. We monitor how well the dog interacts with unfamiliar people, as well as a few of our regular canine campers. All applicants must be spayed or neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordatella vaccines, and in overall good health (camps outside of California may require additional vaccines). Once accepted into the dog day care program, any dog displaying signs of aggression will be isolated and removed from camp. Such a system helps us live up to the title of the gold standard in dog boarding.
