Marketing Coordinator

Located in Westminster, CO

Work for the largest and fastest growing pet care franchise at our fun, high energy “Houndquarters” in Westminster, Colorado! In this position, you will play a critical role in planning and tracking of local marketing efforts, as well as training and support, for local franchise owners.

About the Job:
This job requires the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a dog gone great attitude! Camp Bow Wow®’s Marketing Coordinator is self-motivated, extremely organized and can think creatively. The right candidate has experience in various local marketing tactics and providing marketing training and support.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop local marketing plans and work with Camps to provide guidance on creating, executing and tracking individual plans
  • Provide support on local tactics including grassroots marketing, digital marketing, mass-media advertising, direct advertising and promotions 
  • Support and coach franchise marketing staff, aka ‘Scouts’, and franchise owners in marketing best practices to grow their business
  • Host quarterly hands-on, intensive Scout marketing training at corporate office
  • Work with new franchise owners in opening process to ensure successful lead generation, local awareness, grand opening event and ramp up
  • Keep training resources up-to-date with industry trends and available materials/resources
  • Work with marketing team to align local initiatives with national strategies


    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
    • Minimum 2 years relevant experience
    • Experience developing a data-driven marketing plan and evaluating results
    • Experience in variety of marketing tactics including grassroots, digital, mass-media and direct marketing
    • Experience in client support and/or training role
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
    • Team player with great attitude

    Salary: $40,000

    Department: Marketing - Corporate Office, Westminster, CO

    Reporting: Marketing Manager

    This is a full time, exempt position. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. ‐ 5 p.m. at the Corporate Office in Westminster, CO; attendance at evening and weekend events may be required occasionally. Minimal Travel.
