A typical day at Camp Bow Wow - Golden:

Weekdays:

6:30 am - We are open and ready for play time! Our overnight campers get up and at 'em! Outside to play and potty before breakfast time. Dogs in for doggie daycare can be dropped off for the day at any time after 6:30 am.
7:00 am - Breakfast time for our boarding dogs (they stay down for an hour - this helps to prevent bloat and other unpleasant things caused by eating and then running around right away).
8:00 am - Overnight campers get up from breakfast and rejoin the doggy day campers in the play areas
11:30 am - Nap time! Most of our overnight do boarders enjoy a nap in the middle of the day. Both our overnight and our day campers get a nap. If your pup needs lunch, this can be lunch time, too! Just bring their lunch in a resealable container with their name on it and we'll have it all set up for them in their own comfy cabin along with fresh water and a blankie.
1:00 pm - It's time to play! All of our campers, refreshed from their naps, get back out for play time. Our long-term boarders may take a longer nap if they want to.
4:30 pm - Dinner time for our overnight campers (again, they stay in their cabins for an hour).
5:30 pm - Overnight campers get up from dinner and go back out to play and potty before bed time.
7:00 pm - Bed time for our dogs that are boarding overnight and clean up time for our camp counselors.
7:30 pm - Closing time. Please pick up pups in for doggie daycare by 7:30 pm. Our overnight campers get Campfire Treats (Kongs stuffed with treats and peanut butter) before we leave for the night.

Weekends and Holidays:

8:00 am - We are open and ready for play time! Our overnight campers get up and at 'em! Outside to play and potty before breakfast time.
8:30 am - Breakfast time (just like weekdays, the dogs stay down for an hour).
9:30 am - Play time! Outside to play and potty before nap time.
11:00 am - Nap time! On weekends, our campers get a longer break in the middle of the day. We are closed from 11 am to 4 pm.
4:00 pm - Play time! Outside to play and potty before dinner time.
4:30 pm - Dinner time!
5:30 pm - Play time! Two hours to romp and wrestle before bed time.
7:30 pm - Bed time for our overnight campers and clean up time for our camp counselors.
8:00 pm - Closing time (and Campfire Treats!).

If you are having a hard time finding your dog, give us a call and we can help you locate your pup. We also don't mind taking your dog directly to a camera to wave hi so you can get a good look.

If your pup has a special feeding or medication schedule, we are more than happy to comply - just let us know about your dogs special needs upon arrival (medications are typically given during breakfast, nap time, and dinner). In addition, if you pup is a young puppy, older dog, or has special physical needs that mean they tucker out more quickly or need less activity than some of our other dogs - let us know! We are happy to give them extra naps if you think it will help them stay happier and healthier during their visit.
