Kansas Pet Boarding

The very first Camp Bow Wow®, opened in 2000, was created to provide a fun, safe camp for dogs. We know that finding a place to leave your pup can be a daunting task; that your dog's unique personality and special needs deserve the attention of well-trained and caring staff members. Whether your dog is planning to stay with us for three weeks or just for the day, our goal is to make your vacation, business trip, or standard work day less stressful for you and your dog. At all of our locations across the US, including Kansas, we provide dog day care with all-day play for our canine friends in well-supervised, clean, indoor/outdoor play areas because that's what we'd want for our dogs, and because we believe your dog deserves nothing but the best, too.

We know you love your pooch like a member of the family - but not all situations are the best for our furry friends. Instead of leaving your dog in a cage for more than 20 hours per day at a traditional dog kennel, or at home alone for the majority of the time you are away - take him to camp! Dog day care is the answer for a day full of errands, work, or school. Best of all, Camp Bow Wow® offers overnight boarding, too... perfect for times when both you and your dog need a vacation, and you want a familiar and friendly place for him to stay. A visit to one of our facilities is easily arranged, with our interactive website allowing you to find a Kansas campsite close to you and make reservations online. You can even ease worries by checking on your dog via each camp's web cams on the Camp Bow Wow® website.

In order to confidently open our doors to your kids, all pups must go through a rigorous screening process before becoming a certified camper. We monitor how well the dog interacts with unfamiliar people, as well as a few of our regular canine campers. All applicants must be spayed or neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordatella vaccines, and in overall good health (camps outside of Kansas may require additional vaccines). Once accepted into the dog day care program, any dog displaying signs of aggression will be isolated and removed from camp. Such a system helps us live up to the title of the gold standard in dog boarding.

Do your research when it comes to dog day cares or kennels that offer play time. They often mean your dog gets out 2-3 times a day for a short period of time. Many places don't even allow social interaction with other pups during these brief outings. At Camp Bow Wow®, your dog is literally playing for most of the day with other dogs - and, while your dog is playing, you can watch him on our web cams!

Camp Bow Wow® is a cut-above its competitors. To fully appreciate the differences, such as the size of our cabins and play areas, you need to take a tour of our facilities.

All day play, medications, feeding either your own food or our food, and campfire treats at bedtime are all included in our price. Other facilities often tack on extra charges for each of these items.
