At Dallas We Love Our Campers
We LOVE our Campers! Check out our featured Campers at Camp Bow Wow Dallas. These pups love to play all day in our fun, safe and social environment, and receive lots of love and attention from our Certified Camp Counselors® whether they’re in for day care or boarding.
Smaller Campers of the MonthCaleb & Rhody Laye
Caleb and Rhody are honored to be campers of the month—they have been regular boarders at Camp Bow Wow since it opened in Dallas. Caleb is a spry 16-year-old mixed breed with some Chihuahua and Chow, according to his genetic report. Adopted in 2005 from Atlanta Pet Rescue, he has lived in Atlanta, Provide, RI and now Dallas, TX. It’s not uncommon for folks to stop us when we’re walking and ask, “How old is your puppy,” or, “He looks like a little fox.” He’s not into baths, but when he’s finished the zoomies kick-in and he runs an obstacle course around the house. He is particularly loyal to one of his dad’s who has raised him since he was adopted in 2005. Named for our time in Rhode Island, Rhody joined our family in the summer of 2012. From the beginning Rhody has been the absolute sweetest and happiest dog you can imagine. He lives for being pet and pet and pet for as long as possible by anyone willing to do it. He plays the role of “sheriff” at the dog park always intervening where he senses discord. He’s a peacemaker. He loves treats of any kind, and will eat basically anything presented by the hand of a human—even lettuce! Together, they rule the roost around the house where they generously allow their dads to sleep in the king sized bed. They like barking at cats and squirrels from the windows and going in and out of the dog door to their dog run. More than that, they love sleeping the day away as if every day were summertime. A truly rough life they live...
Larger Camper of the MonthLEVI EIDT
Age: 8 Years old
Breed: Harlequin Great Dane
Levi is an eight-year-old harlequin Great Dane that has been coming to Camp Bow Wow Dallas since 2016. Levi is one of our largest dogs that visits Camp. When he stands on his hind legs he is over 6 ft tall, but don't be fooled by his large size, he is really a big baby. Levi loves butt scratches and undivided attention from the Camp Counselors, and of course we all oblige him. We love having him at Camp!
