Kim Years with Camp Bow Wow: 8 Manager
Skills / Experience
Background: I moved to the U.S. from Canada in 2003, "Eh." But don't let my origins fool you, I'm still a HUGE Blackhawks fan! Of course, if I don't get my french vanilla, extra cream, 1 sugar coffee from Dunkin Donuts, I may just turn into a raging wolf! :)
Additional Skills/Qualifications: I've volunteered at many different rescues over the years. Yes, I really am that "crazy dog lady." :P
Fun Facts
What I love most about my job: I love seeing all the happy campers come in the door, and the pooped happy campers heading home. Not to mention all the new friends (Pet Parents) I've met over my years here at Camp. However, the best part about my job is the sloppy wet doggie kisses!
My pets: I have 4 spoiled fur babies: Payton, Jango, Willoa, and Rosie.

Alysa Years with Camp Bow Wow: 3.5 Assistant Manager / Certified Dog Trainer
Fun Facts
I currently have a 6 year old boxer named Twitch.I rescued him when he was about 6 months old. He needed lots of work having never seen anything but a 10x10 of sand in California. So it was my mission to help him discover the world and know what it is like to be a happy dog. He now is amazing, helping me out with training and being my best friend! Twitch helps me when dogs need a confident buddy, when dogs need to work on reactivity issues, or when dogs are interviewing for camp. He is my little helper and I wouldn’t trade him for the world!
About Me
I have been working with animals and their owners for many years and nothing makes me happier. My first love was horses, training and owning them was a great beginning. However, I knew that my dog was my best friend and I wanted to help others enjoy their furry companions as much as I do! So my passion became my profession.
I graduated from Animal Behavior College in 2012. My mission became to help each dog and owner communicate more effectively. Since there is not a common language, I step up and bridge the gap to create a healthy bond. This is when training becomes fun, exciting, a time of bonding, and strengthens relationships. I joined the Camp Bow Wow team in September of 2014 when I became a Certified Dog Trainer. Now I enjoy working in and out of camp to help our clients and their pets. I am here to bring you and your dog to the next level, whether that is competition obedience, a well-mannered pup, or just a happier household. Your best friend is worth it!
I love my job! The best part is watching the transformation when owner and dog begin to connect on a deeper level! It makes me so proud to see how excited parents are when their dog becomes attentive, engaged, and listens to commands. It truly makes my day to see families happier with their dog and really love everything about their furry family members.
